Here at Newgale we are surrounded by some of the best surfing beaches in the UK. On previous pages we describe the superb climate of the far west corner of Wales, this rings true if you want sun, sea and sand but don't forget that the power of the Atlantic Ocean is just South West of us. That puts us right in the firing line of some spectacular surf!

Our expert surfing instructors are able to give quick skills progression into the rudiments of surfing and can skilfully get the most out of each budding surf god or goddess to visit our centre. Newgale beach is a Mecca for those surf addicts who come from far and wide to ride the waves in some fantastic conditions all year round.

The process of developing new skills and achieving success is a fundamental principle in the delivery of powerful outdoor learning. We believe that the real consequences of learning and the exploration of different learning styles can give our course members a useful insight into how they learn and how to set goals. Used metaphorically this experience has direct relevance to the formal learning environment of school, college, university or work place.
