Bushcraft (NEW)

The Bushcraft Programme is an exciting way to gain a deeper understanding of, and respect for, a  variety of natural environments. And where better to do this than in the breath-taking surroundings of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Its rugged coastlines, copious woodlands and wealth of fauna and flora provide a perfect location to learn about surviving in the outdoors. To really appreciate the beauty of the Pembrokeshire area you have to come and visit.  However in the meantime take a look at the Pembrokeshire Coast National Parks website at www.pcnpa.org.uk

The Bushcraft course includes sessions on navigation, Foraging, Camp craft cooking and river skills.

However this Bushcraft course is not just about learning about the environment.  It is also a course which will help participants develop their Team-Working, Communication, and Risk Management Skills, as well as building self reliance and confidence. Therefore participants will gain skills that could be essential to reaching their full potential in all areas of their lives.

There is also the opportunity for participants to have their learning experience turned into accredited learning, gaining a certificate in Woodland Survival Skills from the Open College Network (OCN).

The programme can take place intensively over the course of a week or spread over 6 weeks. Please download a sample timetable here.
