First Aid Programme (NEW)
Everybody should learn first aid. However if you are involved in outddor activities and sports this is a particularly essential course for you. In this course students will work towards a 16hr “Emergency” First Aid certificate.
This award is certificated through Remote Emergency Care. The award supersedes the 'Emergency First Aid at Work' qualification and is recognised by all National Governing Bodies for outdoor sports and activities. The course will centre on scenario-based learning, including dealing with bone injuries, administering CPR, and coping with bleeding.
If students do not meet the required hours of learning they may be eligible to receive the certificate in “Basic” first aid, ensuring all students on this course receive a recognised qualification - as well as vital skills that could help you save a life.
