This week takes the young people on a journey of discovery looking at the environment around them and some of the ways they can be involved in caring for it. Whilst going out in the great outdoors they will learn about the sea shore and its many inhabitants along with the bird life and flora which is abundant here in the UK’s only Coastal National Park. Tying in to the curriculum for Geography, Sciences, Physical Education and Personal Social Education, students will leave not just having had an amazing experience but also with an increased knowledge about the natural world plus the achievement of the John Muir Discovery Award.
