Kit List
This is a basic kit list:
- Two pairs of Training shoes, at least one pair of which will get wet
- Two pairs of warm trousers, tracksuit bottoms are fine, jeans are unsuitable as they get heavy and cold when wet
- A complete set of suitable indoor clothing
- Two jumpers, sweatshirts or fleeces, two or three thin ones are better than one thick one
- Two T-shirts
- Underwear
- Pyjamas, dressing gown etc
- Swimwear
- Shorts (in summer)
- Wash kit/Personal toiletries/towels
- High factor sun cream (Essential April – September)
- Insect repellent
- Any relevant medication, inhalers etc.
Optional extra’s:
- Alarm Clock
- Small amount of spending money
- Book / magazine
- Camera
Newgale YMCA will supply:
- Waterproof tops and bottoms
- Bed Linen
- Small rucksack
- All relevant safety kit and equipment for activities
This is simply a guideline….Please do not feel you have to buy anything specifically for the course.
