COASTEERING

Coasteering is the sport that put Pembrokeshire on the map. It brings together the best aspects of the local environment into one exciting activity. The Coast of the Pembrokeshire National Park is unsurpassed in terms of it beauty, diversity of wildlife, Celtic history and geology and this alone gives a unique sense of place.

Coasteering for the uninitiated is a combination of low level scrambles and high plunges into the clear blue sea of the coast. It can be accessed on many levels with some breathtaking jumps into deep pools for the adrenalin junkies amongst us but also some smaller and intermediate jumps for those who need time to build up to these high level challenges. The sport is expertly guided by our highly qualified and experienced staff that prides themselves on tailoring each trip to the specific requirements for each group. With names such as the "Toilet" and the "Washing Machine" you can imagine how refreshing a natural saltwater Jacuzzi can be on a warm summers day! You will be provided with warm wetsuits, helmet and a buoyancy aid. In fact all you need to experience the most fun you can have in this superb environment.

From the point of view of our young people the sport of Coasteering is an exciting and fun way to explore their perceptions of themselves. Allows a huge opportunity for participants to choose the level of challenge they wish to accept and the challenging environment engenders a strongly supportive team atmosphere. This enables a physiologically safe place for young people to explore and experience challenges and empathise with and support their peers. If appropriate one of our experienced facilitators will bring this learning to the fore as groups are always having too much fun to notice the positive learning impact of this fantastic activity.

Waterproof cameras are a must, you will want to show your mates what you did, it's mental!!!
